Irresponsible & Youthful.

I think this message isn't resounding loud enough or it is, but the people aren't listening carefully enough but either way, like the gong that I have chosen to be, I'll play on, play till my tune is understood, a tune that clearly reminds old folks that there's a difference between being irresponsible and being youthful.

Hi, it's your responsibly irresponsible teenage nuisance causing blogger, Ufana Ishoyor; What's up?

Some adults are jerks and I say this knowing fully well the implications of such an utterance and while I apologize for the obvious disrespect, I ain't taking back my statement. They ask us to "Dress as we wish to be addressed" but still turn on us when we follow their instructions to correct impressions, saying "Judge not all books by their covers". These people are the kind the bible refers to as lukewarm for they are neither here or there, contradicting the most common logic for reasons unreasonable.

We get the point that we have to look presentable but judging our future by current appearance is like saying Pizza will taste horrible because doesn't suit your everyday uniform food look. Taking away our rights to youthful expression is taking away a phase of our lives and I sure do hear some of y'all say stuff like "I miss my childhood". Keeping Afro or wearing denim or shorts doesn't make you irresponsible and surely doesn't stop your from getting ‘the’ job because rightfully, nobody walks into an interview with shorts so stop making those dumb instances, we are well aware of the dos and don'ts plus dressing brilliantly doesn't make you brilliant, it never has and never will.

The world has gone past the stage where you're accessed by physical appearance, now; we're judged by what we can offer and ohhh... are "not properly dressed youths" offering offers. The dress train has left the station, we style for comfort now, better hop on before the engines hit full throttle.

N.B;

This piece in no way supports jean sagging and indecent dressing but simply throws light on an annoying adultly thought trend, plus indecent depends on the mind cause mostly, indecent is morally correct and public fashion worthy.

#Peace.
