Back in Calabar and it’s a juxta-composition of emotions. A return to the feeling of uncertainty and insecurity and if there’s someone who connects and completely understands this; it’s Ubi Ofem.

Ofem is a poet, an artiste in his own right. In a town where breakthrough art spreads like wild fire and engulfs the minds of ‘jobless’ youths and ‘idle’ students with the get rich quick mentality, Ofem has held his ground. Brain and Author behind the now trending “Teach Them These” serial, Ubi is tearing down stereotypical walls and helping today’s society unlearn some vices turned norms.

He just concluded the “Teach Thy Sons These Things” and “Teach Thy Daughters These Things” is already on track because “what is good for the Gander is sometimes good for the Goose”.

Shooting Ofem brought a feeling of peace and calmed my distraught mind. All might be uncertain but in the future lays better things.
