Hell Shall Thy...

Recently, with the rather stunning multiplication of Christian denominations around the world, the inconsiderable increase in the requirements to attain eternal salvation has suddenly become an impossible feat for almost all to attain.

Hi, Its Ufana Ishoyor and I have _iamscripted with me on this one. Actually, his name is Ubi Ofem and he’s an inspiring poet and y’all should check him out; www.scripted.over-blog.com.

Okay, *returning_to_the_obvious*, I’ve recently being asking myself if it’s possible to make heaven with the recent heavenly stipulations and all. The increase in solidarity with the LGBT community has me pondering and banging figurative heads against brick walls. Choices normally deemed right are now second guessed and while I’m wholly Christian in body and soul, my mind holds no grudge against such persons. It’s their life to live and if eternal damnation comes to them in the end, well… that’s for God to decide. The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender issue is just overly-socially complicated. I totally condemn the recent occurrence in Orlando, I’m a bit confused; does my not having a platonic relationship with this people guarantee my entry ticket to hell?

That aside, other worldly-religious consideration for a sure trip to hell include having and living a social lifestyle and listening to ‘worldly’ music. Personally, life style choices don’t bother me much but music, that’s where my concern lies.

Music is life, music is love, and music is the line that connects all of creation, physical and otherwise together. An existence without music would be sorrowful, not just that, it’ll be pale, dark and terrible, more like a living, unending nightmare. Music is the soul’s food and just like the human body, you need to feed from a variety of things to stay healthy so, if you propagate the ‘listening to worldly music is damnation to the soul’ thing, then I’ll ask that someone passes the devil a memo to request extra space cause hell will be REALLY crowded… like Asia kind of crowded.

Just as there is bad food so is there bad music, but categorizing all said music that don’t fall under the gospel genre as ‘worldly’ and in essence ‘hellish’ is like saying; all that isn’t rice is bad food and lord knows, I love me some dodo and beans.

Most churches need to re-indoctrinate their members and that should start from them possibly having doctrine-amendment sessions. The world is evolving and while God’s standard remains the same, it is unfair, wrong and contemporarily unjust to tag all advancement in human society as evil.
He created us in his image and bestowed on us his ingenuity so accrediting all that has been humanly created to the devil is sacrilegious and an offence to the ingenious nature of the most high.

I dread the raging fires of hell but I dread more, the misleading nature of today’s religious ‘gather tents’. “Hell Shall Thy” go if things don’t change.

#Peace

P.S;
Special thanks to Edgar, Scripted and Smiles for the insights used on this one. I’m grateful.
